Emrys Morgan started playing with 'stuff' at a very early age, doing all the usual things like playing with a tea set, painting his dad's black model T Ford car with different colours of household paint as a 'nice surprise'. He continued his explorations of the material world until communicating thoughts and emotions started to become more complicated. It was then he worked across a variety of media and performance, working in collaboration with others in and outside the gallery system. This enabled new dialogues, new audiences within different contexts/settings. He was a lecturer in fine art and has had a variety of jobs in the creative industries plus others. He has recently built artists studios and gallery space in Manchester [3rd Floor] where he continues to practice mainly in painting.
